Best Puppy Dog Towse's Miletree Constellation

My thanks to the Northern CKCS Society for inviting me to judge at this very well organised ruby anniversary show. I was delighted both with the quantity and quality of the entry although there was a huge variation in size and type. Pigment and eyes were generally good but I was disappointed to find an increasing number of incorrect mouths and inefficient, particularly hind, movement. Special thanks to my very efficient stewards Lynn Crane and Elaine Waddington

Veteran Dog (6,1a) Unusually all wholecolours
1st Koster's Ch Harana Starman 8 year old black/tan, still looking very much a champion, lovely head with large dark eyes and soft expression, well constructed and moved well, profuse, long silky coat.
2nd Rogerson's Rabymar Waltzing Darkie Another sound 8 year old Black/tan. Shorter coupled and a tidy mover. Preferred the reach of neck and coat of winner.
3rd Humpage's Dunadrob Just William

Minor Puppy Dog(24, 2) A lot of very promising youngsters in both this and the puppy class.
1st Surman's Cavaliegh Beau Geste 9 months and maturing nicely, well broken blenheim dog with silky coat, lovely eyes and gentle expression, correct bite, well cushioned muzzle, good reach of neck and spring of rib, short coupled, moved soundly.
